MADRID-LA ENTERTAINMENT MEDIA FORUM 3 - Intercontinental Hotel Century City, Los Angeles
This year the guests from Madrid included a selection of production services companies including top labs and studio/post providers. Compliance Consulting again arranged all of the high level local contacts for a packed luncheon and cocktail as well as visits to a variety of LA-based services companies including Technicolor, Digital Domain, The Henson Company, LA Center Studios, and Sony.

Nollywood Conference, Los Angeles
Compliance Consulting helped to arrange the 2008 edition of the Nollywood Conference at the Sofitel Hotel in Los Angeles. This included coordinating their sponsorship of the Los Angeles Film Festival and the organization of various industry panels. Nigerian Guests included a number of top government officials including Mr. Emeka Mba, the Director General of the National Film and Video Censor Board, Senator Ayogu Eze, Chairman, Senate Committee on Information and Communications, and Honourable Dina Melanye, his counterpart in the Lower House.

MIAMI INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL
Rob Aft was invited to moderate a panel entitled "Film Financing Abroad" at the Miami International Film Festival's Reel Seminars on March 4. The panel featured The Weinstein Company's Glen Basner, Arne Ludwig of 2 Pilots in Germany, Leonardo de Barros of Conspiracao Filmes Brazil and Samantha Horley of Lumina Films in the UK.

LAGOS INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL
Rob Aft was invited to Speak at the Lagos International Film Festival in Lagos, Nigeria. During his eight day visit to the country he also visited Mr. Emeka Mba, the Director General of the Nigerian Film and Video Censor Board in the capitol, Abuja. At the Festival he spoke about international distribution opportunities for the fast-growing Nigerian film sector.

PromoMadrid and CEIM brought 20 top producers from Madrid and Compliance Consulting organized approximately 400 individual meetings with US based production, finance and distribution companies. The event was a resounding success.

Compliance Consulting was engaged by PromoMadrid and CEIM (Confederacion Empresarial de Madrid) to organize meetings for 16 Spanish production companies visiting Los Angeles for this two-day Forum. More than 250 meetings were arranged with Los Angeles based distribution, production and finance companies.
